该物质对环境可能有危害,应注意对大气的污染。
一、健康危害
侵入途径:吸入、食入、经皮吸收。
健康危害;对呼吸道有刺激性,吸入后出现咳嗽、呼吸困难、胸痛,重者发生肺水肿。高浓度接触可引起神经系统改变,出现精神错乱、兴奋、头痛、幻觉、共济失调等。对眼有刺激性。口服灼伤口腔和胃,出现中枢神经系统抑制及心、肝、肾损害。慢性影响:皮肤长期接触可至湿疹;有时引起全身瓜,如发热、皮疹等。可致肝、肾损害。
二、毒理学资料及环境行为
毒性:属中等毒类。
急性毒性:LD50355mg/kg(大鼠经口);1184mg/kg(兔经皮);LC502657mg/m3,7小时(小鼠吸入)
特殊毒性:Ames试验鼠伤寒沙门氏菌阴性。
危险特性:不燃。与锂、钾钠合金接触剧烈反应。本品较不稳定,在空气与阳光照射下容易分解出游离碘能刺激眼睛和呼吸道,并灼伤皮肤。

6.应急处理处置方法
一、泄漏应急处理
隔离泄漏污染区,限制出入。切断火源。建议应急处理人员戴自给式呼吸器,穿一般作业工作服。小量泄漏:避免扬尘,小心扫起,置于袋中转移至安全场所。大量泄漏:用塑料布、帆布覆盖,减少飞散。然后收集、回收或运至废物处理场所处置。
二、防护措施
呼吸系统防护:可能接触其粉尘时,应该佩带自吸过滤式防尘口罩。紧急事态抢救或撤离时,建议佩戴自给式呼吸器。
眼睛防护:戴安全防护眼镜。
身体防护:穿透气型防毒服。
手防护:戴防化学品手套。
其它:工作现场禁止吸烟、进食和饮水。工作毕,沐浴更衣。单独存放被毒物污染的衣服。洗后备用。注意个人清洁卫生。
三、急救措施
皮肤接触:脱去被污染的衣着,用肥皂水和清水彻底冲洗皮肤。就医。
眼睛接触:提起眼睑,用流动清水或生理盐水冲洗,就医。
吸入:迅速脱离现场至空气新鲜处。保持呼吸道通畅。如呼吸困难,给输氧。如呼吸停止,立即进行人工呼吸。就医。
食入:饮足量温水,催吐,就医。
灭火方法:消防人员须佩戴防毒面具、穿全身消防服。灭火剂:雾状水、泡沫、二氧化碳、砂土。
